Decent Pizza, Poor Service. Ordering was a huge ordeal: the guy on the phone said it was his first day and kept having to check on every single thing with someone else. He didn't have a clue about the menu or specials. Not really his fault but rather poor or no training. Another guy who took over on the phone for the new guy said it'd be ready in 25 minutes. When I arrive 30 min later it's not ready and they say it'll be just a minute. Ok no big deal. Then 10 minutes pass w no pizza so I ask and they say it'll be 8 more min. This 25 min order is now an hour order. And the excuse is oh the new guy must have told you that, he didn't know. There's lots of other pizza just as good and service that's way better, so no more PaPa S for us. And please, somebody train the new guy...

ordered ribs and when I got home they were cold and the fries were stiff and ice cold. I was †old to pickup in 1/2 hour and I was on time but it seems they must have sat there for almost 1/2 hour. This is the second time its happened and I will never get ribs there again. They were good after we reheated them but throw away the fries again. Must be a bad cook and poor order taker. I hope the owners wake up and manage their staff better. I see they get lots of negative reviews. Maybe Rosatis is a better choice now.

Pretty decent for delivery or usually don't have any problems here food is decent portions a reasonable try their fried shrimp or ribs pretty good stuff they have custom made cheesecake for dessert ready Oreo cheesecake Burgers for lunch are only 499 and are pretty decent especially with bacon and cheese on them and you wouldn't believe this but I've tried or fried Collie flower and it was really really tasty overall want a better delivery places in the area specially over places like Alfredo's which I would avoid at all costs is there food quality to drop this place is an excellent replacement if your former Alfredo's customer I believe Tuesday is half-price pasta all day which is your chance to try all their different pastas for around five dollars each which makes for fun Time tasting all of them

Ok. Thursday nights is half price beefs. Had I known it also meant half the product I would've ordered carry out elsewhere. They also messed up my order. I ordered a cheesy beef, wet with sweet peppers but what I got was a beef on garlic bread, gross, dry and without sweet peppers. Sorry but back to Rosatis I go!

This place is a total joke. My Wife and I ordered late night delivery on their website and it showed delivery would take 45 minutes. No big deal. An hour later it still wasn't there, no call, nothing. I call them and nobody answers...they are CLOSED. My card was charged for our order but nobody showed up. I call them the following day and get transferred to no less than four people including two "managers" who say they are trying to contact THEIR credit card company, which made zero sense. After three calls I am finally told "You are just going to have to follow-up with us on this.". Ummm, didn't you guys screw up? Why am I being told to do the leg work. I finally called my bank and disputing the charge after these guys had zero intention of resolving their mistake. This was our first and last time ordering from this place.

DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS - STOLE MONEY FROM ME!!! I ordered food online and accidentally did it for pick up. I called them right away and was assured it would be delivered by the employee I spoke with.... 1 1/2 hours later still no food. I called and they said they were sending it out now, cold I'm sure as it sat there for at least 45 minutes. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Told me it was my fault, that I should not have ordered online and hung up on me. Why have an online service then? Upon recalling he was extremely rude again. I asked for a refund as I did not want the food any longer and he refused. $40.27 was the amount. Before hanging up on me AGAIN, He told me never to order from them again. THIS is how a manager handles a customer issue? I'm a Restaurant Manager myself and no matter what the situation would NEVER treat a customer so poorly!! I would NEVER order from them again regardless, don't have to tell me not to!! I NEVER RECEIVED FOOD NOR DID HE REFUND MY $$!! He put the payment thru regardless of me wanting a refund!! Luckily I filed a dispute on the payment with my bank and it was returned after 5 days to my account. I would give them no stars but that's not possible!

Love the seasoning that Papa Saveirio's puts on their cheese pizza. It sets it apart from many other places, and that's something you have to do when you're in the pizza business in Chicagoland. A go-to spot for delivery thin crust!

Phone can be scratchy sometimes. Guy that took the order was really nice, usually pretty happy with the calzones, wish they still offered blue cheese as a topping like they used to.

Called to place an order for pizza today 5/27/13, and prior to actually placing an order, I confirmed their half-off any pizza special on Monday nights. I proceeded to place an order and then was told that they would NOT honor their half-off special as stated on their website as follows: "Monday 1/2 Off Pizza Deal! Monday Pizza Deal! Get any pizza at regular price for half off! Mondays Only. NOT VALID WITH ANY OTHER ONLINE ORDERS." The guy I was on the phone with said that he was fully aware of the aforementioned promotion, but the owner instructed him not to honor their own advertised promotion. I can understand if the promotion was a misprint, but they confirmed that it was not. I tried getting them to honor their promotion multiple times while on the phone, but they sternly refused to do so. Apparently, they would rather have someone write a bad review than to simply honor their own promotion. By the way, this location was fully aware that I am a repeat customer. Let this serve as a huge warning for anyone who places an order with Papa Saverio's Pizzeria located at 471 N Randall Rd, Lake in the Hills.

I have been coming here regularly for takeout for a few months now. Dozen or so times and I've tried many of their items. They have some weekly specials that are a good value. I like that they are very consistent. I haven't had a single issue here. So far so good.

This pizza joint I have ordered off and on from for the last 8 years. On two occasions they have completely forgotten an order I have placed and 90 minutes later when called they just misplaced the order. The first time they sent out an order for free... the second time i didnt order from them for another couple years. Rosatis on Agonquin Rd. I think is just a little bit better. I give that place a better rating. When they have gotten the orders right, the food can be fine. I have tried the Italian beefs and the pizza. I think the "meatlocker" is a great pizza especially if done extra crispy-it is a pizza that comes with about any kind of meat you can imagine... The itlaian beefs a good ordered with giardinara.

Awesome food and WONDERFUL service! Also, they usually have pretty good deals and coupons.

Ordered a pizza for takeout a while back. Service was pretty good, if a little indifferent. It was later in the evening, and I just kinda got the impression that the staff was itching to head out for the night. My pizza was hot and fresh-tasting. The thin crust was a great balance - not too crispy, not too chewy, though it was really dark on the bottom. Their sauce is pretty good, too. Not as sweet as some others. One pizza does not a complete review make, however, so I'll have to give them another shot sometime.

This may have been the worst pizza I've had in years. They sent me a flyer in the mail with a decent coupon so I ventured to try this joint....never again. We got a pepperoni pizza and a bacon pizza. A few of my buddies agreed that this place was the worst pizza they've had in years and definately the lowest quality around Algonquin / LITH. I was going to call them, but I really didnt want anything else from this place. All due respect, BAD. With many other options out in this area, this will never get another look. I'd rather eat a semi-cooked Roma pizza then this f'n joint again. STAY AWAY....

Papa Saverio's is an office favorite when my boss decides to spring for some pizza on the company's dime for lunch every now and again. The B.O.S.S. is a big hit, and they treat their local businesses well on the bill. No real complaints.

Maybe I'm a little biased because I used to deliver for them and would often get discounted food. However, now that I no longer work there, I still order from them (and pay for it, just like anyone else). This place is carry out or delivery only. They've got good thin crust pizza that's not too saucy, and lots of appetizers and desserts. Like all carry out/delivery joints, this place is typically hopping on game days, Friday/Saturday nights, and any time the weather is lousy. Place your orders accordingly, and you'll be just fine. The counter people & delivery drivers are friendly, but again.. maybe its my bias. They accept personal checks at this location, but only from people who live (and have the address on the check) locally. NB: When I delivered for them, I would chase alcohol and cigarettes for customers (provided they were of age), and I know I'm not the only one. I assume this to be the case for most places that deliver though - just ask nicely and tip to show your appreciation :) Edit: Minus two stars. Having not been her in over a year, I decided to order from them last night. On the phone, the order taker seemed extremely confused by my order (large fries, XL thin crust mushroom, half green pepper) and when I arrived to pick up my phone, they again seemed confused and also snotty. When I got home with my food, my fries were cold and chewy.. like they were barely cooked.. and the pizza was gross. Apparently, they are under new management, and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
